Abstract
The management of waste rubbers and plastics and waste from the production of fertiliser phosphogypsum is discussed with reference to their re-use in blends with virgin and recycled polymers. The novel polymer compositions are used to make porous pipes, vehicle parts, flooring, road safety and traffic control equipment, sound absorbing motorway screens, packing in biological wastewater treatment, and biodegradable flower pots, buckets, fencing and similar profiles. Formulations and properties are tabulated.
