Abstract
The Alder-ene cure chemistry was used to design novel thermosets with a view to the development of thermally stable formulations based on cyclotriphosphazenes. The protocol was to design an allyl phenoxy substituted cyclotriphosphazene and effect its cure using a bismaleimide. This paper reports the synthesis, curing and properties of cyclomatrix phosphazene polymers derived from the reaction between allylphenoxy phosphazene and bismaleimide system. 27 refs.
