Abstract
A ternary system consisting of water, acetone and poly-epsilon-caprolactone was electrospun and the morphology of the nanofibres produced characterised by optical microscopy. Cloud point data were obtained by titration and a phase diagram for the ternary system constructed from the cloud point data. Bead-like nano/microfibres were obtained for potential use as cell growth scaffolds with possible controllable drug release capability. 7 refs.
