Abstract
The temperature dependent mechanical properties of cast sheets of poly(styrene-co-acrylonitrile) (SAN), a random amorphous linear copolymer, were investigated experimentally by DSC (glass transition temperature), creep, tensile and microhardness testing at different temperatures and different loadings. The creep response of SAN was also evaluated and the steady-state strain rate dependence on temperature and stress level is discussed in terms of a power law expression. 14 refs.
