Abstract
The preparation of high molecular weight poly(N-vinyl carbazole) webs by electrospinning under various processing conditions from solutions of the polymer in chloroform, and their characterisation by electrical conductivity and morphology (SEM), is described. The effects of solution concentration, applied voltage and tip-to-collector distance on the spinnability, shape, and diameter and uniformity of the fibres in the web were investigated and the results are discussed. 24 refs.
