Abstract
The anisotropic behaviour of plain and weft knitted glass fibre fabric epoxy composites, oriented at different off-axial angles and subjected to compressive and shear loads is investigated. An analytical model is applied to calculate the compressive strength at nay off-axial angle, by using three critical strength parameters: compressive strengths of 0 and 90 degrees, and the shear strength of 0 degrees. 15 refs.
